What operating systems does Enigma support?

A native Windows 10+ desktop installer plus a web application at app.traderorigin.com that runs in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). The web app has feature parity with the desktop build; the desktop app adds pop-out panels for multi-monitor setups and auto-updates on launch. macOS and Linux native builds are not available at this time.

Which exchanges can I connect for live trading?

Five, at the time of writing: Hyperliquid, Bybit, Binance, Blofin, and Lighter. You add each exchange's API key in Settings and execute market or limit orders directly against that exchange's own endpoints. Charts, the order book, the trade tape, the heatmap, and backtests all work before you connect any exchange at all.

Do I need coding experience to use Enigma?

No. Genesis is parameter-driven — you tune the parameters of pre-built strategies, no code required. For users who want to write their own logic, the Python editor is available with AI assistance that understands the full indicator library, the Strategy class, position state, and backtest fill behaviour.

What is Genesis?

Genesis is Enigma's parameter-driven strategy engine. It ships with eight baseline templates (VELOX, VELOX MAX, VELOX HYPER, HYPERSPEED, VORTEX, APEX, AEGIS, HELIOS) and exposes parameter groups covering engine controls, take-profit logic, partial-profit rules, DCA tuners, and equity allocation per level. Configure the parameters, run a backtest, iterate with the optimiser, then — when you choose — enable live mode on a connected exchange.

Where are my exchange API keys stored?

Enigma encrypts your exchange credentials at rest on our servers (never stored or logged in plaintext) and decrypts them only in memory, at the moment an API call is made to your exchange on your instruction. For Bybit, Binance, Blofin, and Lighter that credential is the API key + secret you create on the exchange — set them to trading permissions only and never enable withdrawals. Hyperliquid works differently: you authorise a separate API wallet on Hyperliquid itself (a sub-key with trading-only scope, no withdrawal rights) and paste its private key into Enigma; your main wallet's private key never leaves your device. In every case, revoke the credential on the exchange side if you suspect it is compromised.

Do you give trading advice?

No. Trader Origin provides software and technical analysis tools for self-directed traders. Nothing in Enigma, the templates, the heatmap, the optimiser, or the documentation constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice, or a personal recommendation. Trader Origin is not authorised or regulated by any financial regulator. All trading decisions are yours alone.

Is there a VIP discount?

Yes. The VIP Programme gives a recurring 30% discount on your subscription tier in recognition of community participation. Eligibility requires holding the official VIP role / tag on the Trader Origin Discord server while keeping an active paid subscription. It is not automatic — you apply via the Support page in the app and we verify the tag is in place on Discord before applying the discount via Stripe. If you remove the tag, leave the Discord server, or cancel your subscription, you are permanently removed from the programme. Full programme terms in our Terms of Service §10.

Do you offer a discount for armed forces, teachers, or emergency-service workers?

Yes. Our Public-Service Recognition Discount gives a recurring 10% off the subscription tier to serving or veteran members of HM Armed Forces, full-time qualified teachers in state-recognised institutions, and emergency-service workers (police, fire, ambulance, NHS clinical staff). It is not automatic — you apply via the Support page in the app with verification evidence (government- or employer-issued photo ID, or current membership of a recognised scheme such as the Defence Discount Service or Blue Light Card). Documents are reviewed solely to verify eligibility and promptly deleted; only the verification outcome is retained. Cannot be combined with the VIP Programme or any promotional code.
